Yes, they are coming in 2017! There’s going to be an extensive redesign!
Let’s take a look at Apple’s new flagship smartphone this year:
BODY - Rumours suggest Apple will re-adopting a glass body that was similar in iPhone 4. The body of iPhone 8 will use a glass body and it will be built around an aluminium or stainless steel frame.
EDGE-TO-EDGE SCREEN - Modernise as usually expected to be no home button and instead of LCD and it's going to be a flexible plastic OLED display. It will consume less power, offers a better display with higher contrast ratio to have more vivid colours and borderless display. There will be 3 models to choose from - One OLED, two standards going.
WIRELESS CHARGING - Wireless charging support, very convenient and safe. The Apple company said the solution can recharge a device anywhere in the room, without requiring physical contact between the handset and the wireless charging station.
3-D TOUCH SYSTEM - Touch ID and the camera may be built directly into the display. Well, this is also seen in 3D Touch pressure sensors in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7. That includes an integrated touch ID fingerprint sensor and front-facing camera.
SPEAKERS - They removed the speakers from the bottom and placed them on the top.
The iPhone 8 is still under development and will likely launch in the fall of 2017.
